Emily is an autistic trans game designer and writer living in South Carolina. Her games tend to focus on resolving inner conflicts that have manifested in the external world. Most of her work can be viewed constructively through trans, autistic, and plural lenses.
Emily's most popular games are Mnemonic: Cracks in the Mirror, a prompt-based game for small groups to explore memories through a journey to significant places in the world; and Beyond the Rift, a metroidvania-like card game for three players.
Emily also coined the term "Community Copies", which allows players with limited resources to access full copies of their games for free. Most of Emily's games offer community copies for those who need them.
Emily has done a good deal of layout design work across the tabletop game sphere, including Monster Care Squad, Oligarchy, and numerous other small projects.
More recently, Emily co-founded the Cybernetic Coven, an artist collective dedicated to making art a more sustainable form of work. You can support her ongoing work most directly by subscribing to the Coven's Patreon.
